The Agency for Financing Rural Investments (AFIR) has published on its official website www.afir.ro, in the Communication – Public Debate section, the consultative version of the Applicant's Guide "IMPROVING THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOLS," as well as its annexes.
This version of the Guide will be applicable if a new project call is opened due to the identification of available funds following the completion of the first call, launched on October 20, 2023.
The public consultation period is 12 calendar days, starting from the date of publication on the site. All interested parties can submit proposals and observations to the email address [email protected].
After analyzing all received observations and communicating them to the Ministry of Education, AFIR will publish the final version of the Applicant's Guide, so that all funding applicants can prepare the documentation for submitting their funding requests.
The maximum eligible budget for a project is the equivalent in lei of the sum of 650,000 euros, excluding VAT.
Funding for improving the infrastructure of agricultural high schools is available with European funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Investment 7 – Transforming agricultural high schools into professional training centers regarding the investment part for the development/modernization of their infrastructure, Reform 4 – Creating a complete professional route for higher technical education, Component 15 – Education.
