The Agency for Rural Investment Funding announces the launch of the application submission session for reimbursing premiums for crop, animal, and plant insurance through sub-measure 17.1 under the National Rural Development Program 2014 - 2020.

Farmers can submit funding applications starting from October 2, 2023, at 9:00 AM until the deadline of December 15, 2023, at 4:00 PM.

The available funds for the fifth session under sub-measure 17.1 - Crop, Animal, and Plant Insurance Premiums amount to 21,378,798 euros, with the possibility of additional funds based on the interest expressed by applicants.

The non-reimbursable support granted under this funding line is 70% of the eligible insurance premium value actually paid by the farmer.

In this session, funding applications can be submitted for the plant sector (for policies concluded for the autumn crops of 2022 and the spring crops of 2023) and the animal sector (for policies concluded in 2023).
