APIA Begins Payment Authorization for 2024 Transitional National Aid

The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) announced that as of March 10, 2025, it has officially launched the payment authorization process for Transitional National Aid (ANT) in the crop and livestock sectors, for the 2024 claim year.

In accordance with Government Decision No. 197/06.03.2025, which approves the funding ceilings for transitional national aid in the crop and livestock sectors for the 2024 claim year, and published in the Official Gazette No. 198/2025, the total allocated budget amounts to €203,344,650. This funding is provided by the state budget through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR).

Exchange Rate and Payment Terms

All payments are made in Romanian lei (RON), using the exchange rate of 4.9753 RON per euro, as established by the European Central Bank (ECB) on September 30, 2024, and published in the Official Journal of the European Union, Series C, No. 5035 dated October 1, 2024.
