The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) informs that it has authorized payment to 4,670 beneficiaries, with a total amount of 129,036,691.46 lei, as follows:

• 29,838,330.83 lei from the National Budget (BN);
• 95,177,957.18 lei from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF);
• 3,353,158.66 lei from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).

"APIA maintains the same sustained pace of authorization of eligible files, making payments to farmers in accordance with the deadlines provided for in European legislation, representing a priority on the agency's agenda," said APIA General Director Cornel TURCESCU.

The direct payment interventions, national transitional aids in the plant sector, interventions/measures for rural development authorized for payment in this statement are as follows: PD-01 - BISS, PD-02 - CRISS, PD-03 - CIS-YF, PD-04, PD-21, PD-22, PD-23, and PD-24, National Transitional Aids - NTA plant (NTA 1, NTA 4, and NTA 6) and zootechnical NTA (NTAZ 9), M10, M11, M13.

Payments for interventions funded from the EAGF and BN are made in lei, at the exchange rate of 4.9735 lei/euro, and payments for measures/interventions funded from the EAFRD at the exchange rate of 4.9495 lei/euro.
