The Agency for Agricultural Payments and Intervention (APIA) announces that, given the publication in the Official Gazette no. 956, the regulatory act issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) regarding the subsidy regime for the Advance Payment Campaign, namely Order 447/2023, has been approved for the year 2023. This order relocates amounts and establishes the conditions for granting the advance for uncoupled direct payments financed from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund within the Strategic Plan CAP 2023 - 2027.
APIA reports that, in the institution's financial accounting system, 100,135 farmers have been transferred an amount of approximately 41.04 million euros, for payments to be made in commercial banks and/or the Treasury.
Therefore, to meet the financial needs of Romanian farmers, APIA has extended its working hours until 24:00.
It should be noted that for the 2023 Campaign, APIA grants advances of 70% from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) for direct payments and 85% from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) for delegated measures.
Payments for interventions financed from EAGF are made in Romanian lei, at the exchange rate of 4.9735 lei/euro, while payments for measures financed from EAFRD are at the exchange rate of 4.9495 lei/euro.
