Green SMEs Conference: Calculating the Carbon Footprint of SMEs

According to ANZM, the "Green SMEs - Calculating the Carbon Footprint of SMEs" conference was recently held, organized by IMM Romania, SMB Norge, and IMM Bucharest – Ilfov. The National Agency for the Mountain Area was represented at the event by its General Director, Gheorghe Hîrlav.

The Green SMEs project includes multiple best practice examples that can be applied in mountainous areas, representing a collaborative initiative between business organizations from Romania and Norway. The project is co-financed by Innovation Norway under the Open Call for Bilateral Cooperation in the Green Transition.

SMEs in agriculture must be supported in their transition toward a green, sustainable, and energy-efficient economy. The goal of today’s event was to present practices and technologies that reduce environmental impact, identify ways to adopt new green energy solutions and resources, and facilitate the development of future bilateral collaborations.
