Two new Guides for the wine sector

APIA Publishes New Guidelines for Viticulture Investment Interventions

The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) informs potential beneficiaries that two new informational guides have been published on the institution’s website www.apia.org.ro, supporting the implementation of interventions in the viticulture sector, namely:

  • The Informational Guide for the implementation of Intervention IS-V-02 “Investments in tangible and intangible assets” under the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027;
  • The Informational Guide for the implementation of Intervention IS-V-07 “Investments in tangible and intangible assets aimed at increasing the sustainability of wine production” under the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027.

These materials are intended to assist applicants in preparing, implementing, and managing investment programmes, in accordance with eligibility criteria, basic EU requirements, and other specific conditions.

Application Process

Applicants must submit their documentation in accordance with the instructions for using the online modules (to be published on APIA's website), as well as in printed format. Please note that initial verification will be based on the documents submitted online.

Applications must be submitted to the APIA county centre or the Bucharest Municipal Centre, depending on the location of the investment project, during the designated submission session as announced on APIA’s website.

Financial Support

  • For IS-V-02 “Investments in tangible and intangible assets”:
  • Up to €1,500,000 per programme for complex acquisition projects
  • Up to €400,000 per programme for simple acquisition projects
  • For IS-V-07 “Investments in tangible and intangible assets aimed at increasing the sustainability of wine production”:
  • Up to €650,000 per programme for complex acquisition projects
  • Up to €250,000 per programme for simple acquisition projects

Important Notes

  • The submission sessions for IS-V-02 and IS-V-07 will close if the value of submitted funding requests reaches 120% of the budgetary limits set out in the call notice.
  • APIA will make payments in accordance with the approved action schedule and financial reservations, and no later than October 15, 2027.
