The Agency for Rural Investment Financing has published for public consultation the Applicant's Guide for the establishment of producer groups in the agricultural or horticultural sector, an activity financed within the Strategic Plan 2023 – 2027, through intervention DR-33.

The public consultation period for this document is 10 calendar days from the date of publication on the website, until March 16, 2024. All those interested in submitting proposals or observations regarding the Applicant's Guide subject to public debate have at their disposal the email address [email protected].

The funding provided is 100% non-repayable and cannot exceed 10% of the value of the marketed production in the first five years from recognition, as well as the maximum amount of 100,000 euros per year. Support is provided in the form of a lump sum, degressive, paid in annual installments, for a period not exceeding 5 years from the date the producer group was recognized, based on a business plan.

Beneficiaries eligible for funding under DR-33 are producer groups in the agricultural and horticultural sector, established under the current national legislation and recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development before applying for support.

Eligible expenses are those resulting from the establishment and operation of producer groups in the agricultural and horticultural sector, as provided in the funding application/business plan, necessary to achieve the proposed objectives.
