During this period, according to ANZM specialists, fruit growers should perform the following tasks:
1. Spring planting of fruit trees and bushes should be carried out.
2. Pruning for fruiting and crown formation in young trees should be done.
3. Gaps in orchards should be filled.
4. Phytosanitary treatments should be applied as per warning signs, using products to combat pests such as aphids, powdery mildew, spider mites, etc.
5. Soil cultivation should be done immediately after snowmelt, when the soil has thawed. Superficial loosening is necessary to maintain a larger amount of water accumulated during the autumn-winter period.
