Collaboration Agreement Between the Faculty of Agriculture and the National Agency for Mountain Areas

A delegation from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, consisting of Prof. Dr. Teodor Rusu – Dean, Prof. Dr. Florin Păcurar – Vice Dean, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Avram Fițiu, participated in a working meeting with the leadership of the National Agency for Mountain Areas (ANZM). The meeting took place on February 18, 2025, at the central headquarters of the institution in Vatra Dornei.

Representing ANZM in the discussions were Mr. Gheorghe Hîrlav – General Director, Mr. Dan-Marius Sezonov – Deputy General Director, and Mr. Dănuț Ungureanu – Director of the Professional Training Department (CEFIDEC).

Purpose of the Meeting

The primary objective of the meeting was to lay the groundwork for a future collaboration between the two institutions. The collaboration aims to:

• Organize and participate in joint events,
• Support students and master's candidates in preparing their thesis and dissertation projects,
• Facilitate practical training and research documentation internships,
• Offer specialized professional training courses.
