The Agricultural Payments and Intervention Agency (APIA) informs that today, on 13.02.2024, it has made payments for the 2023 application year in the total amount of 403,124,402.23 lei, as follows:

• 63,685,988.61 lei from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) for 581 farmers;
• 335,444,300.18 lei from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) for 561 farmers;
• 66,535,729.32 lei co-financing from the National Budget (BN1) for 565 farmers;
• 1,144,372.73 lei from the European Union's Recovery Instrument (EURI) for 284 farmers.

The interventions related to the plant and animal sectors for which these payments are made are as follows:

Direct payments provided in the National Strategic Plan (NSP) 2023-2027:

• PD-01: basic income support for sustainability (BISS) amounting to 45,223,651.02 lei for 1,536 farmers;
• PD-02: complementary redistributive income support for sustainability (CRISS) amounting to 3,247,697.40 lei for 1,260 farmers;
• PD-03: complementary income support for young farmers (CIS-YF) amounting to 460,911.60 lei for 121 farmers.

Coupled income support (CIS):

• PD-21: coupled income support - dairy cows amounting to 6,402,556.58 lei for 197 farmers;
• PD-22: coupled income support - beef cattle amounting to 2,122,174.37 lei for 39 farmers;
• PD-23: coupled income support - dairy buffaloes amounting to 83,958.89 lei for 19 farmers;
• PD-24: coupled income support - sheep-goats amounting to 6,145,038.75 lei for 320 farmers.

Measure 10 - Agro-environment and climate (M.10) amounting to 173,968,751.28 lei for 38,902 farmers.

Measure 11 - Organic farming (M.11):

• Sub-measure 11.1 - Support for conversion to organic farming methods (sM.11.1) amounting to 34,090,877.80 lei for 1,687 farmers;
• Sub-measure 11.2 - Support for maintaining organic farming practices (sM.11.2) amounting to 113,306,291.00 lei for 2,828 farmers.

Measure 13 - Payments for areas facing natural or other specific constraints (M.13):

• Sub-measure 13.1 - Compensatory payments in mountain areas amounting to 74,586,692.42 lei for 60,266 farmers;
• Sub-measure 13.3 - Compensatory payments for areas facing specific constraints amounting to 7,171,789.73 lei for 609 farmers.
