The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) informs that the Order providing for the reallocation of available funds and establishing the unit amount of payments to beneficiaries of interventions related to coupled support in the plant/animal sectors and eco-schemes has been published in the Official Gazette no. 523/2024.

Thus, the Order of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development no. 73/2024 for approving the unit amount of direct payments related to payment applications submitted in 2023, financed from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund through interventions within the PAC Strategic Plan 2023-2027, is amended, with APIA (Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture) set to make payments to farmers by the end of June of this year.

"After APIA completed the necessary administrative and procedural steps for finalizing the processing of payment applications, we at MADR ordered the modification of the regulatory framework to establish the payment amounts for interventions that were not part of the advance for the 2023 application year, as well as to determine the differences in amounts that need to be granted to utilize the entire FEGA ceiling from 2023," stated Minister Florin-Ionuț BARBU.

The Monitoring Committee was consulted, according to the provisions of art. 3 para. (2) of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 85/2023, regarding the principles that underpinned the redistribution of funds and the final amount of payments.
