The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) announces the launch of Session 1 for the submission of Financing Applications to access the State Aid Scheme "Silvo-Environment and Climate," corresponding to Intervention DR-07 "Silvo-Environment and Climate" under the 2023-2027 CAP Strategic Plan.

Voluntary commitments undertaken under the state aid scheme contribute to achieving the specific objectives of the European Union to:

• Mitigate climate change and adapt to it, including by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving carbon sequestration,
• Promote sustainable development and efficient management of natural resources such as water, soil, and air,
• Halt and reverse biodiversity loss, improve ecosystem services, and conserve habitats and landscapes.

The financial allocation for the submission of financing applications for the State Aid Scheme "Silvo-Environment and Climate," corresponding to Intervention DR-07 "Silvo-Environment and Climate" under the 2023-2027 CAP Strategic Plan, is 75,850,112 euros.

Financing applications for the state aid scheme can be submitted until September 13, 2024, at 2:30 PM.

After the technical dossier is approved by the Forestry Guard, applicants can submit financing applications, along with the specified documents, to the APIA County Centers, as detailed in the Applicant's Guide.

The financing applicant must meet the conditions stipulated in the state aid scheme and detailed in the Applicant's Guide, documents that will be published on the APIA website, APIA Silvo-Environment and Climate DR-07.

The selection of financing applications during the session will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations on the organization and functioning of the selection process and the process for verifying appeals, approved by the Order of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development No. 202/2024 and published on the APIA website.

The announcement of the selection results will be made by notifying beneficiaries through the APIA County Centers following the publication of the Selection Report approved by the General Director of DGDR – AM PS on the APIA website.
