The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will continue to apply the provisions of Government Decision No. 1174/2014, with subsequent amendments and completions, in the year 2024 as well.

This provides state aid for reducing the excise duty on diesel fuel used in agriculture, specifically by applying a reduced tax rate on diesel fuel used for mechanized work in agriculture in the plant, animal husbandry, and land improvement sectors.

Thus, today, May 27, 2024, the Minister of Agriculture, Florin-Ionuț BARBU, signed Order No. 206/2024, granting state aid amounting to 103,180,220 lei for the quantity of diesel fuel determined to be 59,110,874.167 liters.

We remind you that for the period January 1 - June 30, 2024, the unit amount of support representing the excise duty equivalent is 1.746 lei per liter of diesel fuel. (Photo: Freepik)
