The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) has authorized the payment of a total amount of €579,968,394 (2,885,552,477 lei) as final payments for the 2024 application year, benefiting 669,208 farmers (94.01% of all declared eligible farmers).

From December 2, 2024, to the present, in accordance with its responsibilities, APIA has made final payments for the 2024 Campaign from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF), amounting to €442,810,883.92 (2,203,116,990.78 lei), benefiting 666,836 recipients.

In the 2024 Campaign, payments from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and National Budget 1 (BN1) for rural development (RD) interventions are carried out by the Agency for the Financing of Rural Investments (AFIR).

Payments for interventions financed by the EAGF are made in lei, at an exchange rate of 4.9753 lei/euro, while payments for measures financed by the EAFRD are made at an exchange rate of 4.9756 lei/euro.
