xFarm Technologies aims to strengthen its position in regenerative agriculture and geospatial AI, FutureFarming announces.
Therefore, xFarm Technologies, a company specializing in agricultural digitalization, continues its growth trajectory in Europe by announcing two operations in Spain and France – specifically the integration of Greenfield Technologies and SpaceSense.
International Growth
Greenfield Technologies, based in Badajoz, specializes in soil characterization to optimize crop management, making them more sustainable and resilient. SpaceSense, a pioneering company based in Paris, offers climate intelligence services.
SpaceSense uses satellite data and artificial intelligence to help companies and organizations conduct better and large-scale sustainability analysis, enabling actions such as carbon monitoring over large areas.
These two operations represent an acceleration of the international path that xFarm Technologies has pursued over the past two years, initially with a presence in the Iberian Peninsula, then in France, Germany, and Poland. Moving forward, this expansion will be supported by the expertise of an even larger, more international, and more specialized team.
A Consolidated Position
These companies will strengthen their position in regenerative agriculture and geospatial AI. This will allow them to create new value and make a comprehensive contribution to the global agri-food industry.
According to Miguel Córdoba, CEO of Greenfield Technologies, the integration will enhance the ability to improve Greenfield Technologies' solutions, such as agricultural soil characterization, support for relevant crops in the Mediterranean region like tomatoes, olives, or almonds, "and we will make progress in implementing regenerative agriculture for the benefit of our customers and the planet."
Jyotsna Budideti, CEO of SpaceSense, adds: "By combining SpaceSense's geospatial AI expertise with xFarm Technologies' Agtech excellence, we aim to strengthen our Climate Intelligence services to empower farmers around the world.
Together, we will leverage data and innovation to fulfill our purpose and accelerate sustainable agriculture, from assessing soil carbon levels to implementing strategies to combat emissions on a global scale." (Photo: Freepik)
