In the heart of the Parâng Mountains, "Mountain Day in Romania" was celebrated in a very special way! This year, the local authorities in Petroșani and the county brought the celebration into the midst of nature, paying tribute to the mountain's beauty.

In the past, the event used to take place in the city, but this time it happened at over 1700 meters of altitude, within the CSȘ Petroșani Cabin in the Parâng resort, under the Carpathian sky.

At the celebration of "National Mountain Day," there were participants such as Mrs. Veronica Țaran-Baciu-Georgescu, General Director of the National Mountain Area Agency, Mr. Călin Petru Marian, the prefect of Hunedoara County, Mayor of Petroșani, Tiberiu Iacob-Ridzi, and numerous distinguished guests:

The Hunedoara Agriculture Directorate, Hunedoara APIA, Hunedoara Mountain Rescue Service, Retezat National Park, Grădiștea Muncelului-Cuoclivina Natural Park, Pro Parâng Association, and the "Alexandru Borza" Agricultural Technical High School in Geoagiu.

By organizing this event, the National Mountain Area Agency, through the Regional Mountain Development Center 4, along with the Petroșani City Hall, with the support of the Petroșani Sports School, students, and teachers, as well as representatives of the Mountain Rescue Service and the Mountain Gendarmerie, have highlighted the beauty of the mountains, which we should all enjoy.
