The Agency for Rural Investment Funding announces the launch of the application submission session for financing the modernization of irrigation infrastructure funded through intervention DR-25 within the Strategic Plan for Common Agricultural Policy 2023 – 2027.

Funding applicants can submit their applications starting from March 15, 2024, at 09:00 through the official website of the Agency – www.afir.ro. The deadline for receiving funding applications is July 15, 2024, at 16:00.

The allocated budget for the funding application session related to intervention DR-25 "Modernization of irrigation infrastructure" is 400,000,000 euros. Eligible beneficiaries for the funds allocated through DR-25 are Water Users' Associations for Irrigation (OUAI), established in accordance with the current legislation.

The maximum value of funding that can be obtained for the modernization of irrigation systems through DR-25 is 1,500,000 euros per beneficiary, and the public support is 100% non-refundable based on eligible costs.

The monthly quality threshold for the first stage of the session (March 15 – April 14, 2024) is 90 points, gradually decreasing thereafter, reaching the minimum threshold of 40 points for the last monthly stage (June 15 – July 15, 2024).
