In the Government Meeting, the Decision for the extension of the application period of the provisions of Government Decision no. 1.174/2014 regarding the establishment of a state aid scheme for the reduction of excise duty on diesel fuel used in agriculture was approved.

This normative act aims to extend the application period of the provisions of GD no.1174/2014 from December 31, 2023, until December 31, 2026, considering the extension of the application deadline for the provisions of Regulation (EU) no.651/2014, which represents the legal basis for GD no.1174/2014.

The beneficiaries of this state aid scheme can be:

Agricultural producers, namely: individual authorized natural persons, individual enterprises and family enterprises, and/or legal persons, regardless of their form of organization, and/or land improvement organizations and federations of land improvement organizations, and/or seed testing organizations, research organizations, universities, research and development institutes in the agricultural field, regardless of their legal status or funding method.

State aid is granted to beneficiaries who submit a pre-financing request to the competent authority.

It confirms in writing, subject to subsequent verifications, the pre-financing agreement for the funding request.

The scheme applies until December 31, 2026, and the measure proposed by this decision has no impact on the state budget.
