AFIR has completed the first stage to ensure the transformation of agricultural high schools into centers of excellence by publishing the Initial List of projects admitted/rejected following the evaluation of the eligibility of applicants and projects for the call for projects under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) "Improving the infrastructure of agricultural high schools".

After a rigorous evaluation, out of the 76 projects submitted, 62 were declared eligible, marking an important step towards the modernization of agricultural high school infrastructure. However, 14 projects were deemed ineligible, highlighting the need for careful planning and preparation of funding applications by including all required documents.

To ensure transparency and fairness in the process, the Agency for Rural Investment Financing (AFIR) provides applicants with two working days to submit appeals after receiving the anonymized grid transmitted by the Regional Centers of AFIR.

The generous financial allocation of 43 million euros from the PNRR will support the transformation of predominantly agricultural high schools into efficient institutions capable of providing training for specialists adapted to the rigors of modern technologies. Each project can benefit from a maximum funding of 650,000 euros, covering 100% of eligible expenses.

The list of projects admitted and rejected for the funding of agricultural high schools is available on the website www.afir.ro, in the Reports section, by accessing the Evaluation link - the NEW AFIR Portal - PS PAC information, Online submission.
