Following the completion of the evaluation stage, the Agency for Financing Rural Investments (AFIR) has published the interim selection reports for the DR-28 intervention - Creation/modernization of basic road infrastructure in rural areas, and for the DR-27 intervention - Creation/modernization of agricultural access infrastructure on its official website, www.afir.ro.

Both reports pertain to the third stage of project submissions, from January 1 to January 31, 2024.

Thus, of the 163 projects submitted in January 2024 under DR-28, 21 communal road investment projects were selected for funding, totaling 19.72 million euros, with funding provided by the EAFRD - European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the State Budget.

Another 104 projects are eligible without funding, 19 funding requests are eligible and pending, 12 projects are non-compliant, and only 7 were declared ineligible.

Additionally, in January 2024, 81 projects for agricultural roads were submitted online to AFIR, funded through DR-27.

Of these, 16 projects were selected to receive funding totaling 15.83 million euros. In this monthly stage, 46 requests are eligible without funding, 7 are eligible and pending, 2 funding requests are non-compliant, and 10 projects were declared ineligible.

We remind you that the funding amount is up to 1,000,000 euros per beneficiary, and the public financial support is 100% non-refundable relative to the eligible costs per project.
