The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) informs that until June 7, 2024, farmers can submit Payment Requests for interventions related to the plant and animal sectors in 2024 at APIA Centers.

This year, farmers will be able to submit their Payment Request by accessing the IPA-Online application from the internet version, following the instructions for using IPA-Online (accessible within the application).

If the payment request includes interventions from the animal sector as well, the applicant will first address the APIA officer to complete the declaration regarding the animal sector, and then complete the application for the area through the IPA-Online application.

Only one Payment Request will be completed, even if land areas in different localities or counties are used. The individual, on the one hand, and the authorized natural person/family enterprise/individual enterprise, on the other hand, having the same owner, will submit only one payment request.

After the deadline for submitting the payment request, farmers must notify APIA in writing of any changes to the data declared in the payment request and in the supporting documents, within 15 days from the date of the change.

Farmers who do not carry out agricultural activities are not eligible for payment for non-compliant areas/animals.

Farmers and other beneficiaries who receive direct payments or annual payments through interventions in the form of direct payments and interventions for rural development, financed from European funds, must comply with the rules regarding cross-compliance on the entire agricultural holding (including ineligible ones and those no longer used for production) throughout the application year.

The documents proving that the agricultural land is at the disposal of the farmer must be valid on the date of submission of the Application.

The responsibility for the legality and validity of the documents belongs to the farmer and/or the authority that issued/certified these documents, as applicable.

ATTENTION!!! Farmers can also sign the Applications using electronic signatures. In this case, it is necessary to inform (by phone or email) the designated officer to manage the application about the intention to sign electronically.

The electronic signature applied to the payment request must be downloaded from the IPA-Online application on the date of submission. Commitments and declarations, part of the payment request, will also be electronically signed on the same date.

It is very important that, before signing the Payment Request 2024, applicants double-check the information entered and the documentation submitted! APIA, always with farmers! (Photo: Dreamstime)
