The Agency for Rural Investment Financing announces the launch of the funding application session through the DR-37 "Knowledge Transfer" intervention within the Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan 2023-2027 (CAP SP 2027) until March 22, 2024, at 4:00 PM.

The allocated amount for this session is 1.8 million euros. The funds provided through the DR-37 intervention are granted in the form of standard unit costs for reimbursing eligible expenses within projects carried out by professional training providers, the direct beneficiaries of this funding.

Within the DR-37 intervention, three Standard Unit Cost (SUC) variants are provided, namely for face-to-face meetings with accommodation (SUC - A) with a value of €94/person/day, for face-to-face meetings without accommodation (SUC - B) with a value of €67/person/day, and for online meetings (SUC - C) with a value of €21/person/day.

For the first selection call launched within this intervention, two professional training domains have been established, namely the "Eco-Scheme" domain – mandatory, which will train farmers, especially beneficiaries of schemes funded through CAP Pillar I for climate, environment, and animal welfare, and the domain of "Knowledge in the field of environment, climate, and resource use efficiency on farms," which addresses especially beneficiaries of agri-environment and climate and organic farming funding.

The duration of the courses will be 3 days for the first domain and 5 days for both domains, including the planned practical activities, and is intended for farmers in Romania. The pre-established quality threshold is 50 points.

Professional training providers can be public or private entities/consortia operating in the field of professional training and meeting all eligibility conditions.

They can register continuously on the platform for registration in the Register of eligible providers of professional training services (the register will be available on www.afir.ro through a separate application).
