The Agency for Rural Investment Financing announces the exhaustion of available funds for the DR-30 Support for the Installation of Young Farmers, the national component within the Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan 2023–2027 (CAP SP 2027).

Between November 2 and January 19, 2024, AFIR received 3,761 funding applications submitted by young farmers through DR-30, the national component. The total value of the online funding requests is 263.27 million euros. Thus, the percentage of submissions reached 150.05% of the allocated amount.

It is worth noting that the deadline from the session launch announcement was January 31, 2024, at 4:00 PM, and the allocated budget for this session was 175.5 million euros.

Financial support through this intervention is 100% non-repayable, with a value of 70,000 euros per project, granted to young farmers whose funding request has been declared eligible and selected for financing.

The funds are awarded based on a business plan in the form of a lump sum, in two installments – a 75% installment of the support amount upon signing the financing contract and a second installment of 25% of the support amount.

These are granted based on the correct implementation of the Business Plan, without exceeding three years or five years for the orchard and table grape sector, from the signing of the Financing Contract.
