The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) informs that in the Government meeting, the Decision for amending and supplementing Government Decision no. 1570/2022 regarding the establishment of the general framework for the implementation of specific rural development interventions included in the Strategic Plan for CAP 2023-2027 was adopted.

This normative act establishes the amendment and supplementation of GD 1570/2022 in order to ensure alignment with the latest version of the CAP 2023-2027, as amended in 2023.

At the same time, the Government Decision aims to:

- clarify certain terms and expressions so that their use within the normative act and subsequently in the implementing acts ensures a high level of understanding by all interested parties;

- amend and supplement the provisions that require ensuring a uniform approach with interventions financed from the EAGF, according to GD 1571/2022 regarding the establishment of the general framework for the implementation of interventions related to the plant and animal sectors within the Strategic Plan for CAP 2023-2027, financed from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund and the state budget, with subsequent amendments and completions;

- amend and supplement the rules regarding the duration of contract execution in correlation with the provisions of the applicable European regulations under the CAP;

- ensure the predictability of the national normative framework, adapted to the new European regulations applicable to the Common Agricultural Policy regarding the performance of the plan by establishing rules regarding the realization of payments for investment projects. (Photo: Freepik)
