Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development announces the launch of the submission session for Local Development Strategies within DR-36 intervention - LEADER - Community-led local development, included in the Strategic Plan for CAP 2023-2027.

The submission session will take place between December 15, 2023, 09:00, and January 8, 2024, 16:00.

The financial allocation for the submission session consists of:

• 500,000,000 Euros from EAFRD (European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development)
• 160,736,843 Euros from ESF+ (European Social Fund Plus)

The DR-36 intervention - LEADER - Community-led local development contributes to supporting rural communities by developing a Local Development Strategy that aims to build a local identity and use resources in a way that best meets the needs of the territory.

The selection of Local Development Strategies will be based on a single public selection procedure, developed and applied at the level of the Managing Authority for the Strategic Plan for CAP 2023-2027 (MA PS) and the Managing Authority for the Inclusion and Social Dignity Program 2021-2027 (MA PIDS), involving the verification of eligibility and the application of selection criteria.
