Today, March 26, 2024, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, through the Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA), made new payments for the 2023 application year totaling 424,674,010.17 lei. Thus far, APIA has made payments for the 2023 application year totaling 10,537,252,517.38 lei.

The over 400 million lei were deposited today into the accounts of 7,679 farmers as follows:

- 408,521,344.02 lei from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF);

- 3,298,839.09 lei from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD);

- 12,191,203.99 lei from the National Budget (NB);

- 654,233.52 lei co-financing from the National Budget (NB1);

- 8,389.55 lei from the European Union Recovery Instrument (EURI).
