The database with reference prices, created and managed by the Agency for Rural Investment Financing (AFIR), is available to beneficiaries of European funds for agriculture and rural development, including during the implementation of the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan (SP 2027).

Thus, farmers and entrepreneurs from rural areas applying for funding through AFIR can use the database to carry out acquisitions related to investments financed within ongoing sessions or those scheduled to be launched in the near future.

The database is constantly updated and supplemented with new items, currently including reference prices for over 45,700 machinery, equipment, specialized machinery, silos, greenhouses, halls, barns, and furniture that can be purchased through projects financed with non-repayable European funds.

Among these, more than 10,000 items are equipment for land preparation (plows, disc harrows, cultivators, scarifiers, etc.), over 2,000 trailers, over 1,000 spraying machines or equipment, over 1,000 seeders, over 870 tractors (from over 30 different brands, with powers ranging from 20 HP to over 650 HP), over 650 irrigation equipment, over 500 loaders, over 200 combines (including potato harvesters, cabbage, nuts, beans, fodder, etc.).

The database also contains other types of equipment: for animal barns (over 1,000), excavators (88) and accessories for these (over 700), silos (over 250), slaughterhouses (over 100), greenhouses (over 100).

Given the increased interest observed recently in photovoltaic systems, there are now over 800 items from this category available online in the AFIR database. The offer for agricultural drones has also diversified - approximately 50 models are displayed online.

In the AFIR database, there are also specialized equipment for winemaking, food industry, professional equipment for HORECA, equipment from the category of car-mounted machines for specialized transport (refrigeration, bakery, veterinary ambulances, etc.), equipment for auto services, medical offices, tailoring, beauty salons, furniture, etc.

It is worth noting that, starting in 2023, in accordance with the new commitments made for the implementation of the Strategic Plan, AFIR only accepts the inclusion in the Price Reference Database (BDPR) of items with a minimum Stage V pollution standard, environmental standards being established in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/1628.

The Price Reference Database is a unique working tool at the national level, through which AFIR facilitates and concretely simplifies access for farmers and entrepreneurs to European funds granted for investments in agriculture and for rural development.

The simplification made by AFIR consists in allowing beneficiaries to directly purchase the desired product through this database, without going through the procurement procedure, in accordance with the provisions of the current procedural regulations. This way of working significantly reduces the purchasing time and gives the farmer the possibility to choose exactly the equipment needed to optimize the investment.

The updating and completion of the AFIR database is carried out in accordance with the updated version of the Price Reference Database Guide, available on the AFIR website, by accessing the following link: BDPR AFIR - NEW AFIR Portal - PS PAC information, Online Submission. (Photo: Freepik)
