The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Florin-Ionuț Barbu, has approved an order amending and supplementing the annex to Order No. 107/2017 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development regarding the approval of the "Support for the Implementation of Actions within the Local Development Strategy" minimis aid scheme.

The changes include:

  1. Extending the scheme's validity period by 6 months, from 31.12.2023 to June 30, 2024.
  2. Increasing the budget of the minimis scheme from 345,519,724 euros (equivalent in lei) to 357,112,591 euros (equivalent in lei). The total budget consists of the allocation for national funds and EAFRD funds, including EURI, for the entire programming period.
  3. Harmonizing the provisions of the minimis scheme with the current European regulations.

The minimis aid scheme targets specific actions and eligible beneficiaries falling under the rules of minimis aid, as outlined in the technical sheet of measure 19.2, "Support for the Implementation of Actions within the Local Development Strategy," under measure 19, "Support for Local Development LEADER," related to the National Rural Development Program 2014-2020.
