The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA), through its County Centers, is making payments related to the state aid in the beef cattle and buffalo sector, approved by the Government of Romania as a grant of 100 euros per animal.

The amount paid is 51,027,656 lei and is granted from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR).

The sum is granted to a number of 3,945 beneficiaries who have accessed this form of state aid and a total of 103,433 heads of beef cattle and buffaloes.

The grant is awarded to beneficiaries of payment requests submitted and approved based on Government Ordinance no. 13/2024 on the establishment of a state aid scheme to support breeders in the beef cattle and buffalo sector, in the context of the crisis caused by Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
